William Scott-Dalgleish
Director, Founding Partner
Born in Jersey, Will has spent the last 15 years working in the residential property market. His focus started from a design background, no doubt inspired by his artist mother. Since then, Will has gone on to design many residential projects for clients including a whole house from the foundations up in Oxford. He started his first building company in 2007 which he ran successfully until he and Michael, long-term friends, decided to found Portland Decorating and Design Ltd. That was nearly ten years ago, and the company continues to grow steadily year on year.
Michael Rogers
Director, Founding Partner
Michael grew up in the North Cotswold’s where he developed a passion for property from a young age. However, his first venture took him up to Liverpool whereby the age of 30 he owned an impressive thirty house portfolio. Using his knowledge of the markets and project management skills, Michael had all the properties renovated, let and managed allowing him to return to London and start his building company. He grew this company into one of central London’s leading refurbishment contractors, servicing clients from all over central London until he joined forces with Will in 2013.
After nearly a decade of steady expansion, Michael is co-running the London office, and runs the Portland Country office based in Kintbury, West Berkshire.
Svilen Ivanov
Company Foreman
Svilen grew up mastering his craft on projects in Bulgaria until he came to the UK with his family in 2004. We were fortunate to meet Svilen in the very early days and he’s been an ever-present since then. He’s one of the most talented decorators we’ve ever worked with and an excellent team leader. It’s not surprising he worked quickly up to company foreman where he still is today. Anyone who joins the company now, has to go through the Svilan vetting process! No easy task I can tell you.
Georgi Kostov
Wallpaper Specialist
Georgi has been with the company almost since its inception. With over 20 years’ experience hanging woven, non-woven, fabric and vinyl papers, there is no one better in the business. Wallpaper is increasingly coming to the fore with interiors designers, architects and even home designers adding colour and texture to their projects.
Andy Moore
Head of Accounts
Andy has been running our company accounts for the last four years. He has been an integral part of the team and helped us to double the size of the business in the last 2 years. As Warren Buffet says ‘ Accounting is the language of Business’. Luckily for us , Andy is fluent !
