Grangers & Co. Notting Hill

One of the most popular and successful restaurants in west London, there is a queue around the block every day of the week. As a result the restaurant is never closed, Monday to Sunday, breakfast until dinner. This posed a challenge for refurbishment, meaning we had to redecorate the basement, bathrooms, office, staff room, communal hallways and service stations in only one weekend……… during the Notting Hill Carnival!

Corrigan’s. Mayfair

Michelin starred TV chef, Richard Corrigan, has for a decade been serving exciting food at his flagship Mayfair restaurant, Corrigan’s. Portland were commissioned to give the legendary Lindsay Room a new lift using grass cloth papers from the far east.

Love or Nothing Baby. Mayfair

Having stepped down as CEO of Labelux, our client set out on a new venture to create stylish and functional leather goods for the discerning British pubic. His flagship store opened in Mayfair this year with stylish influences from Italy and In particular, Venetian Riva boats. Portland delivered a complicated Rhombus engineered floor, stylish and durable for the heavy footfall. We also created a bespoke bathroom suite at the back of the shop.

Timothy Taylor Gallery. Mayfair

Shezad Dawood is well renowned artist born in and based in London. His multi-media works are inspired by his varied cultural heritage, having a Pakistani mother, an Indian father and an Irish stepmother. For his well-received exhibition titled: Kalimpong, he asked Portland to erect a massive textured back drop to display his works. We hung well over 100m meters of materials for this exhibition.
